Futebol Clube do Porto B is a Portuguese professional football team, which acts as the reserve side of FC Porto. First established in 1999, they compete in the LigaPro, the second division of Portuguese football, and play their home matches at the Estádio Dr. Jorge Sampaio in Pedroso, Vila Nova de Gaia. As a reserve team, Porto B cannot compete in the same division as their senior team, and are thus ineligible for promotion to the top-tier Primeira Liga. In addition, they cannot take part in other domestic competitions, such as the Taça de Portugal and Taça da Liga.
