During the day, it can be heard across most of the densely populated portion of Kansas, as far west as Wichita, Salina, Hays and Dodge City. It also provides a decent signal to Omaha and Lincoln, and Tulsa. Under the right conditions, it can be heard in portions of Texas, South Dakota, Illinois and Arkansas. A single tower is used during the day, while two towers are used at night to concentrate the signal in eastern Kansas somewhat away from the Kansas City area, though it still delivers a secondary signal there.
