Alain Portes (born 31 October 1961) is a French handball player and coach, who competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics. He coaches the Algerian national team, and have formerly coached the Tunisian national team and France women's national team. In 1992 he was a member of the French handball team which won the bronze medal. He played four matches and scored nine goals.
