Bryan J. Hannegan is an American scientific administrator, with a background as a climate scientist and engineer. On June 24, 2013, Hannegan became the associate laboratory director for Energy Systems Integration at the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory. He was previously the vice president for environment and renewable energy of the Electric Power Research Institute. From 2008 to 2010, Hannegan was the vice president for environment and generation at EPRI, working on technologies to support fossil-fuel generation. His time at EPRI began in 2006.
