The song was performed sixth on the night, following Turkey's Pan with "Bana bana" and preceding the United Kingdom's Live Report with "Why Do I Always Get it Wrong?". At the close of voting, it had received 13 points, placing 19th in a field of 22. It was succeeded as Belgian representative in the 1990 Contest by Philippe Lafontaine singing "Macédomienne".
