After leaving the Gable Endies at the end of the 2010–11 season, Pope returned to his native Ayrshire to sign for Auchinleck Talbot. He spent two seasons playing at Beechwood Park and was part of the team that won the Western Super League/Emirates Junior Cup double in the 2012–13 season.On June 21, 2013 Auchinleck Talbot announced on their Twitter page that a deal had been agreed to take Pope to Ayr United.On May 18, 2014 Pope rejoined Auchinleck Talbot.
