Labashi-Marduk, (Akkadian: 𒆷𒁀𒅆𒀭𒀫𒌓, romanized: La-ba-ši-dMarduk, lit. '"May I not come to shame, O Marduk"') son of Neriglissar and his wife, the daughter of Nebuchadnezzar, became king of Babylon while still a child. After nine months he was murdered in a conspiracy led by Nabonidus and his son Belshazzar in concert with the nobles of the court.
