Mahendra Perera is a Sri Lankan artist of cinema, television, and theatre. He started his career in the 1978 film Sakwithi Suwaya, and rose to prominence in 2004 by playing the male lead in the highly successful film Mille Soya, and later the 2008 film Machan. He is a past pupil of Thurstan College, Colombo.
