Marcelinho (born Marcelo Pereira Surcin on 1 February 1971) is a Brazilian former footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He was noted for his accuracy from free kicks, earning him the nickname "Pé-de-Anjo" (Angel Foot). For all his club achievements, Marcelinho never succeeded in Brazil's national team and never played in a FIFA World Cup, making only three appearances for the national side between 1998 and 2001, and scoring only two goals.
