Maynard L. Pennell (April 12, 1910 – November 22, 1994) was a Boeing executive and aircraft designer. Born in Skowhegan, Maine, his family moved to Seattle in 1920. Pennell studied aeronautical engineering, graduating from the University of Washington in 1931. While a student at Washington, he was inducted into the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society and became a brother of the Pi Kappa Phi social fraternity.
