Miroslav Šimek (Czech pronunciation: [ˈmɪroslaf ˈʃɪmɛk]) (born 27 January 1959 in Turnov) is a Czechoslovak-Czech slalom canoeist who competed from the late 1970s to the late 1990s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won two silver medals in the C-2 event, earning them in 1992 and 1996.Šimek also won a complete set of medals in the C-2 event at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a gold in 1993, a silver in 1991, and a bronze in 1997.
