San Giovanni Battista de Rossi is a church on via Cesare Baronio in the quartiere Appio-Latino of Rome, Italy. It is dedicated to Saint John Baptist de Rossi (February 22, 1698 – May 23, 1764).Saint John Baptist was canonized in the year 1881 by Pope Leo XIII. This church was commissioned by Pope Pius XII in 1938 with the services of the architect Tullio Rossi. Owing to a delay in its construction due to the Second World War, the church could only be consecrated on May 22, 1965.
