San Ramon (Spanish: San Ramón; Spanish for "Saint Ramon") is a city in Contra Costa County, California, United States, located 34 miles east of San Francisco, and within the San Ramon Valley. San Ramon's population was estimated as 75,931 in 2017 by the US Census Bureau, making it the 4th largest city in Contra Costa County, behind Richmond, Concord and Antioch. On April 24, 2001, San Ramon received the title Tree City USA.
